Yesterday was the day that our trip finally moved beyond Oregon. Dad crossed the border over to Idaho that afternoon. It was a big occasion to finally be done with this state. No offense to the people of Oregon, but it feels good to have really gotten this trip into the next state, it feels like we are gonna actually be making this happen all the way. Idaho is up next, and we’ll get our first real taste of it tomorrow, when Dad sets off to really put a dent in state number two. After that however, is when it gets really interesting. We are planning on taking after off after the ride to try to head up for Seattle. The games are happening Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. We get to see Felix Hernandez for the second time this season, Dice-K for the third time of this season, and check a new stadium off of our list of places to catch. I’m very excited for it.

It was a weekend for a few firsts as well for me. Got to try my first taste of Quiznos, trying out a sub there. Very delicious, gotta give it to them, they make a tasty sub. Also got the chance to try out Coldstone, which I had been hearing good things about. Not Hodgies, but what is? Outside of that though, it was a great. Solid experience with them just throwing whatever you want into the ice cream right in front of you, and then singing a song for a tip. I’ll definitely be going back at some point, I’m sure, but with both places, I should probably get a job so I can afford their inflated prices. Also, got to purchase the MLB package to catch a whole lot more of the sox games.

Now onto the interesting celebration that happened last night. The morning started out with Dad and I stopping at a grocery store to get some water. Out of nowhere, the night after I was talking to my old roommate Bob, I ran across a 24 pack of Keystone heavy. Great moment for me, as I had heard rumors about it. It took Keystone to a new level for me, although its not one that I plan to go back too all that often. Anyways, the night just kept getting stranger from there. After getting a nice Italian dinner at a pizza place in the middle of town, tried to find the Sox game to watch. After failing in that due to everyone’s inability to work their satellite receivers, the night really got going. After a few more Keystone heavy’s, Matt and I decided to go next door to start to get a little drinking done. Long story short, which I will edit to keep this blog a bit more appropriate, we would up going to a few different establishments, winding up at a bar in Idaho, and eventually getting a free limo ride to get us back to the hotel. Great night, if you want to hear more of the details, just ask me and matt, and we’ll try to fill in the details a bit more, but trust me when I say it was a strange, fun night where we got to meet some cool local people. And on that note, I’m off to watch the new Entourage, hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

hemi, new mission for you on this trip. find Keystone Light Bottles and bring them home to Boston. If u find them somewhere load up, I'll wire you the money I don't care how much it is. I'll even add 15% interest for this. Forget the bike trip, this needs to be the real goal.

Also, surprisingly enough there hasn't been any insane backlash from the boys regarding the trade we made. I'm shocked and a little disappointed. I figured this would give Sean and Greech at least a month's worth of complaining. And if we manage to dethrone Felisa and Stahl and take the 1-2 spots again we are definitely pulling an Irishmen Blockbuster from every fantasy season here on out.
