The following entries are less blogging entries than the notes I jotted down on a daily basis, sorry for them being pretty much all over the place, but I'm a bit lazy and didn't feel like going back to make them into coherent articles.
The first day off of the trip, meaning that the pace of 1% per day is no longer on target. Also means that I get to bike the beginnings of the Cascades tomorrow for my routine bike day. Intimidated doesn't really do justice to what I'm feeling looking at the topographical map showing all inclines for the first 20+ miles.(after the fact addition, only got 14 miles through this trip before my bike was run over by a van looking very similar to ours driven by a man looking very similar to my brother. Draw your own conclusions, but I'm gonna leave the guilty party nameless.)
The night after our first night sleeping in a tent is not so fun. Woke up with cold feet, a sore back, and at 8:30am when I had the whole morning to sleep in. Who am I anymore, trying not to binge drink, waking up at 8:30, leaving Boston behind, it bears repeating that I wonder if graduation really changes you this much?
