Dad was taken to the start of his trip today by Matt, and then from there was taking the day to ride off by himself with no help refilling water or any other help from Matt or I. This meant for the first time since starting this trip, I had a free day to spend in the middle of Oregon. Got to sleep in to 8(what is happening to me? That would be unacceptable a few weeks back, I think I need to start drinking again just to regain the ability to sleep in). Got some relaxing time in this morning in the Super 8's lukewarm hot tub, which was still nice just to get a good soak in with. Gonna have to buy me one of those one day soon. Once I have enough money to move out of Nana's house, that is.
Other than that, got to get 18 holes in with the brother after a few errands. Actually hit the ball kind of well, even shooting an 80(ok, it was not too much more challenging than a par 3 course, but it wasn't, so I'm happy with that, under 100 for 18 is about as good as it gets for me), finishing only 3 strokes behind my brother. After that got the chance to go and see Knocked Up, a movie with some good lines, but the same type of letdown ending that we got with 40 Year Old Virgin, just a bit too happy. All in all, not the most exciting day to read about, I'm sure, but you know, it was a great day to take off, and enjoy the local scenery, gonna have to get back out to Redmond for all their golf courses some time again in the future.
